Background Strain

By default only PI, technician and scientist have the authority to add Strains.

Strain in E-MouseLab is the background strain of mouse, such as C57BL/6J and 129svj. The short name of the strain will be shown in mouse records and census.

You can assign multiple strains to a mouse record if the mouse is of mixed background.

If a mouse has genotype "wild type", its strain will be shown on census instead of genotype.
